  • Ms. Thompson's 7th grade Technology class weighed in on Channel One News' "The Next Big Thing."  Go to our Facebook page to view the video!
  • We’re halfway to our goal of raising $11,000 for the American Heart Association!  In recognition of that achievement, students who have turned in money or coupons stating that they have raised at least $5.00 had their names entered in a drawing for heart pencils and heart straws to remind us of the importance of keeping our hearts healthy.  Winners were Georgia Kate Philen, Kennedy Griffin, C.J. Smith, Sarah Thibodaux, Ryan Theilen, Brenley Metoyer, Hudson Harrington, and Sophia Pleasant. We also had our drawing for students who have sent at least five e-mails to help raise money.  We drew names for a basketball, two kickballs, a Dairy Queen gift certificate, and an Orange Leaf gift certificate.  Winners were Allison Johnson, Trace Feazell, Emme Errington, Jaxon Townsend, and Hudson Methvin.
  • The bead mural is a 6 foot school wide project in Ms. Davis' Art class.  They are in need of E6000 glue to complete the project.  Any glue, or funds, you would like to donate would be used and much appreciated.  Email Ms. Davis for more information (sdavis@smstigers.org)
