  • The month of October is designated the Month of the Holy Rosary. St. Mary's students have been learning information about the Rosary in religion classes and the month culminated in the annual Living Rosary. This event was held in the gym where students sat in chairs in the shape of the Rosary beads. Students in grades Pre-K 3 through 12th grade participated in this beautiful event.
  •  Every year, St. Mary’s first graders dress up as their favorite saint and parade around the gym for all the school to see. This event is not only fun and educational it also celebrates our Catholic heritage. After the parade, the students joined their parents and grandparents in the chapel to share the story of the saint they chose.
  • Last week, St. Mary's students in Kindergarten through 8th grade competed in the Louisiana Games State Championship race in Monroe, LA. The 3rd and 4th grade boys team placed 3rd overall with 3 runners in the top 12.  Pictured with their plaque are Luke Johnson, Tyler Hornsby - 1st place, Ian Gardner, Luke Westbrook, Andrew Kautz - 6th place, and Peter Kautz - 12th place.
