Grading and Grading Scales
- In all courses, an A is "excellent" and confers 4 quality points. A B is "above average" and confers 3 quality points. A C is "average" and confers 2 quality points. A D is "below average/passing" and confers 1 quality point. An F is "failing work/incomplete" and confers 0 quality points.
- 100-93 is an A
- 92-85 is a B
- 84-77 is a C
- 76-69 is a D
- 68 and below is an F
The academic honor roll recognizes both A and B students in middle and high school, grades 7 through 12. These students are recognized at the end of the first three quarters and at the beginning of the first quarter of an academic year (using status from previous year). Honor Roll students also are honored at the end of the year collectively. Honor Roll students are defined as:
- A Honor Roll 4.0 GPA at the end of any nine weeks period. The student must have no "B" nine-week grades, only "A" nine week grades.
- B Honor Roll 3.0 or higher GPA at the end of any nine weeks period. The student must have only "A" or "B" nine-week grades, no "C"s.
